Matthias Schulze (Sales Manager, ATS Life Sciences Systems Europe)
Matthias (B. Sc.) started his career as a Mechanical Engineer at ATS Automation in 2016 and afterwards became a lead engineer for various projects, and even a site supervisor in Europe. In 2018, he took over the role of Head of Applications and Systems Engineering and gained valuable expert knowledge over the years which he is recently leveraging as a Sales Manager to our global customers. He was one of the co-developers of SwiftCellTM and is therefore very familiar with all the technical details, potential use cases and scalability options, ranging from clinical trials to fully automated lines. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his familiy and going to the gym.
Adrian Hopp (Mechanical Engineer, Systems and Innovation)
Adrian Hopp (B.Eng) started his career as an apprentice industrial mechanic in September 2008 at ATS and has since held various technical roles for over 16 years, primarily in design engineering. In his current role, he develops customized system solutions during the proposal process, focusing on concept and layout design based on individual customer requirements. As a SwiftCell™ expert, he has been involved since day one and was part of the Kaizen team that created SwiftCell, incorporating his experience from proposal development to align technical specifications with customer needs. In his free time, he enjoys hiking in the mountains and is a passionate kart racing enthusiast.
